Unexpected Error during Crafting

Players are able to craft and upgrade Cosmetic Collectibles and Hourglasses using Workshops (e.g. Forg

es, Armories, and Time Wardens) within their Big Time Personal Metaverse. 

When attempting to Start or Complete (Finish or Speed Up) a craft, in very rare cases, a player may encounter an error message labeled "Unexpected Error".  This indicates that something highly unusual has happened - an event our system didn't predict and one that's not a common occurrence.  Such errors are exceptionally uncommon and may be caused by unique issues such as unanticipated backend service hiccups, sudden disruptions in connectivity, or even attempting to craft with an NFT as input which you no longer own. Below is an example of the error message:

When Starting a Craft:

If this message is received when starting a craft, it is important to understand that the craft failed to start.  We advise players to attempt the crafting process again.  Note that in the event of this error, any bonus rolls and associated items, such as Mod Chips, may not be retained. However, NFTs used for crafting will remain unaffected.

If in-game currencies are lost due to this error, such as Mod Chips used in Bonus Rolls, please reach out to Customer Support with the following information to facilitate a potential refund:

• The Error ID from the message
• Date and time of the error
• Quantity of in-game currencies lost (Mod Chips / Time Crystals)
• Any supplementary evidence to support your claim

When Completing a Craft:

If this error occurs while completing a craft (i.e., finishing or speeding up), rest assured that the craft status is preserved server-side. An automatic retry mechanism is in place, which operates in the background. Please be aware that retry events may not be displayed with your workshop.  Successful completion of the retry will result in the item being added to your Open Loot collection.

In the event the crafted item does not appear within a 24-hour window, please contact Customer Support with the Error ID from the message, alongside the date and time it happened.
